Jungfraujoch Top of Europe
Snow and ice 100% guaranteed! The Sphinx observation hall, impressive Ice Palace and hiking plateau - these are the year-round attractions up on the Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in Europe. Summer attractions include a skilift, husky-drawn sledging and adventure activities.


Schilthorn-Piz Gloria
The most spectacular 360° panorama in the Alps! Dine-and-wine in the world's first revolving restaurant at an altitude of nearly 3000 metres. Impressive views embrace some 200 snow-capped peaks, ranging from the Bernese Alps to Mont Blanc in France and Germany's Black Forest.


Beatenberg-Niederhorn
You can get there by railway, by boat, by bus, by funicular and by aerial cableway. The Niederhorn above Beatenberg is one of the most popular vantage points in the Bernese Oberland. Fine panoramic views extend from the Lakes of Thun and Brienz to the Eiger, Monch & Jungfrau.


Schynige Platte with Alpine Garden and "Teddyland"
Take the cosy cogwheel railway to this superb vantage point, where the views of the Eiger, Monch & Jungfrau are acclaimed as the finest. Other attractions include extensive hiking trails, the Lowa Hiking Shoe Test Centre and, especially for our little ones, a large Teddy Bear exhibition.
Alpine Garden
This famous botanical attraction comprises some 500 different flowering plants and ferns grouped in 15 groups of near -natural locations. From mid-June until late September, the Alpine Garden is an ever changing blaze of colour.


Harder Kulm
From Interlaken it is only a matter of minutes to the Harder Kulm. This attractive vantage point offers fine views of the Bernese Oberland "capital" (between the Lakes of Brienz and Thun) as well as the entire Jungfrau Region. Particularly popular with children are the trip to the top by funicular and the Alpine wildlife park at the valley station, near Interlaken Ost railway station.


Heimwehfluh
From Interlaken West, by old-timer funicular (built in 1906) to the beautiful Heimwehfluh vantage point above Interlaken. Attractions here include beautiful woodland paths, an open-air model railway, an exciting bob run from the top all the way down to the base station in Interlaken and a spacious play area for children. The summit restaurant serves a choice of snacks.


The St. Beatus Caves
Discover the prehistoric settlement und the cell of Saint Beatus. 1 km of lighted stalactite caves with impressive underground gorges, awe-in-spiring halls and waterfalls. Site included park with a waterfall and a wonderful playground with a dragon slide. Visit the fable house with a special exhibit and the unique cave museum in Switzerland. From Interlakenby ship, car, bus or on foot along the historic Pilgrim Route.


Kleine Scheidegg
The awesome Eiger North Wall. Kleine Scheidegg is located between the Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald Valleys, at the foot of the towering trio of the Eiger, Monch & Jungfrau. A popular meeting point for cowherds, climbers and tourists from throughout the world.


Mannlichen
The magnificent Mannlichen is an ideal excursion destination for rest and recreation. And a naturally superb sun terrace. Excellent hiking country with views of the mighty Monch, Eiger and Jungfrau.


Grindelwald-First
90 kilometres of heavenly hiking trails. Crystal-clear lakes reflecting snow-capped summits. And pure alpine air. Such delights are waiting to be discovered in the Grosse Scheidegg-First-Bussalp region.

Brienzer Rothorn
Take a trip up to the Rothorn on Switzerland's only surviving steam-driven cogwheel railway. The route passes through wonderful woodland, over mountain pastures and past rugged rockfaces. The scenic summit is an ideal departure point for memorable mountain hikes.

Boat Cruises on Lake Thun and Brienz
With scheduled boat service on both lakes, you can enjoy an outing on a motor-powered vessel or on an elegant, restored paddle-wheel steamboat.

Water falls
Ten glacier waterfalls tumbling within a mountain are illuminated and accessible by tunnel-lift. The Trummelbach alone empties the huge glacier gorges of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau and transports 20,000 tons of boulder detritus yearly from a drainage area of 24 square km. These are the only accessible, mountain-interior glacier falls in Europe.
